My little cottage is about 5 miles from the airport and the city center. So convenient to EVERYTHING!

In Crestwood you will find parks, restaurants, bars, and public transport. There is a Publix, Winn Dixie, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Aldi, and just about every fast food joint you can think of within 1.5 miles.
The space
This is a 60 year old home with an adjoined living and dining room, den, open kitchen, master bedroom with full bathroom, guest bedroom, office, guest bathroom in the hallway, screened in patio, a concrete driveway, and a carport. There is no carpet in the home. There is a desk in the living room for those of you that work from home. You’ll love my place because of the comfy furniture, open kitchen, and the coziness of the den.
Guest access
The office (the first room on the left side of the hallway) is always locked. Feel free to use either bathroom. I have 3 brown leather couches that you are welcome to sleep on. Please be kind to the leather and do not place sharp or jagged materials on it. The largest couch in the living room reclines.
Other things to note:
If you have a well behaved pet then I will consider your stay on an individual basis. Please reach out and ask!
The hot tub is only for guest staying for over 5 days or more. If you are staying for less and want to use it, please reach out and I will try to arrange this for you, for a small fee.

Summary: Between Key's thorough communication, concise instructions and the charming Cozy Cottage, my visit here was wonderful. Comfortable bedding, plenty of leather seating options, a hot tub and the great screened-in back porch are just a few of the selling options for this place. The house has a great layout and the design made it feel cool even when it was pretty hot outside. Plenty of TVs (bring your Netflix/other logins), easy-to-use kitchen and laundry. Key provided so many extras that I didn't need to go out and buy a thing. Also very thoughtful with a 'goodie bowl' and Keurig K-cups of coffee, teas, etc. This is a great spot from which to explore Birmingham and feels like less than a ten-minute drive from most everything. A Publix was literally less than a half-mile away and this was super convenient. Thanks again, Key!

Summary: We had a great stay at the cozy cottage! The owners included all kinds of extras from brand new bottles of shampoo and body wash and Nivea lotion to other toiletries. There Was a nice full bowl of goodies at the entrance when we walked in to greet us, and they even went the extra mile to leave us a couple of big bottles of bodyarmor sport drink in the refrigerator knowing we were in town to play in the National tennis tournament at Pelham Racket Club. The hot tub felt great after the long days of tennis!
